7 Dresses #2: Transparent. This is a working girl’s outfit. The skirt is suede and I actually mixed my paint with white sand from a Florida beach to give actual texture. The blouse is transparent because she is not hiding anything. But she is not transparent in an empty way. She is solid in character and that’s what you see through her honest transparency. None of the dresses have faces because any girl, any size, any age should be able to see herself wearing the freedom the garment represents. 100% of the proceeds from reproduction sales of Transparent will go to carefully vetted organizations who fight for the rescue and long-term recovery of rescued victims of human trafficking, both local and abroad.
This dress is part of a personal journey, and the original is not for sale.
