The Coffee Cup Revival
finding holy moments in your hectic day
Launching in 2026 (Hopefully, January)
Why another Podcast?
The Coffee Cup Revival is a gentle place for Christian women who are lovers of Beauty in the most holy sense of the word. We share the knowledge that we're made in the image of the Beauty Maker and we want to reflect that in our lifestyles. We're creative and looking for a safe place to be encouraged and inspired. We love tips for doable creativity whether on the easel, in the kitchen or around our homes.
But we are real. We don't need to be magazine ready for friends to come by. We don't measure ourselves by likes and followers. We may go for groceries in sweats - or not. We have good days and challenging days. But we believe in Hope, Beauty and the Lover of our Souls - Jesus.
But aren't there spaces like this already? Why another?

I asked myself the same question. Why this burning desire to do what others are already doing?

And then, one quiet morning with my coffee and Bible, I read the intro to the book of Luke.

1Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account of the things accomplished among us, 2just as they were handed down to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word, 3it seemed fitting for me as well, having investigated everything carefully from the beginning, to write it out for you in consecutive order, most excellent Theophilus; 4so that you may know the exact truth about the things you have been taught.

I was amazed. Luke was writing a letter to a friend he held in high regard, a friend who already knew a lot about what Luke was writing to him. Other letters had already been written. He acknowledged that. But Luke said, "it seemed fitting for me as well!"

So I felt like it would be ok for me to chat with a friend (you) who I hold in high regard about things you might already know, but maybe you just need a reminder from a different viewpoint.
I'm not a teacher. I'm only going to talk about things I know to be true in my own life.

I'm not a counselor. But my best counseling has come from the lips of friends over coffee.

So here we are.

This is just an simple invitation to take a little time for yourself, to hug your mug, and to soak up just a moment of peace in your busy day with kindred souls.

In the meantime, here's a link to a fabulous glimpse of Beauty:
